Idiopathic hypercalciuria is defined as increased urinary excretion of calcium in normocalcemia
without primary cause. It is associated with urinary symptoms, such as hematuria but it occurs
without any symptoms too. If left untreated, it may cause kidney stone, dimineralization of bone, or
other problem. The incidence of idiopathic hypercalciuria was 3.9% in asymptomatic group compared
to 5% in unselected populations in this study.... |

The authors experienced a case of ulcerative colitis associated with pretibial erythema nodosum.
A 12-year old male patient was admitted to our department beacause of loose stool and abdominal
pain for 3 month.
We diagnosed it throuth the evaluation of clinical and radiographic features including colon study.
Colonoscopic and histopathologic findings aid to the confirmation of the diagnosis.

Thirty-three cases of endodermal sinus tumor were reviewed. They were diagnosed at Seoul
National University Hospital over the last 9 years. Sixteen were testicular, 12 were sacrococcygeal
and the others were mediastinal, vaginal, ovarian, retrovesical and tongue endodermal sinus tumor.
